My alpha hen who goes by “Poppy” seems to have vanished sometime on Friday May 20th. I’ve searched all the surrounding areas to no avail. She’s not tame, will peck at strangers. Poppy is a Rhode Island Red laying hen, she’s got beautiful coloration and is the super sassy alpha in the flock. I suspect she may have either ventured off somehow or lost her way home while protecting her sisters. If you see a red hen walking around, roosting in a tree, or even find evidence of a dead chicken please reach out to me! We miss our girl and it’s unusual for her not to come when I call her with treats. Please keep an eye out if you’re near wabash and summer street. Cash reward for Poppy’s safe return!
