97 year old needs friends

One of my elders lives in Placerville and today is their 97th birthday. It's an incredible accomplishment! Unfortunately, they have outlived almost all their friends, haven't had the opportunity to make more because of the pandemic, and are struggling with isolation and loneliness, just like so many seniors :( We're having a big outdoor party with family to celebrate them today, but most will drive back home, far away, until the next holiday and that makes me so sad for them. Immediate family visits daily and calls several times a day but having a few peers would be absolutely wonderful for them. They are still pretty mentally sharp and mobile with a walker. Family is more than willing to drive them around. They speak English and Italian. They are fully vaccinated. They are a little anxious, pretty timid, very kind, very generous, and genuinely interesting. They enjoy cooking, crochet/knitting (I can't remember which), and coloring. I'd like to help them make some new friends and will take all the suggestions we can get. Senior groups, activity groups, info about organizations or places where they can meet people - all ideas are welcome and appreciated! Thank you for helping them make some new friends. We all deserve to be happy and I appreciate your support in creating some joy for my Noni on their birthday.
