Great Cat Needs a Home

Description

We are getting ready for our retirement adventure and have hit a snag. We're planning on bringing the three cats along, but have learned that most campgrounds have a 2 pet limit. Of the three, Teddy is the least likely to adjust well to life on the road. We're looking for a home for Teddy. Teddy is about 6 years old. He is a big, handsome, short-haired, ginger and white kitty. He is neutered and chipped. He’s due for his shots, but we’ll get that done before you take him unless you’d prefer to take him to your vet. I think he’s good on rabies vax and will find his info. He is reliably litter trained, doesn’t scratch the furniture. He is used to having his nails clipped and doesn’t get worked up about it. He really has no bad habits. He is cuddly and likes people, including kids and people he doesn’t know. He likes head and neck scritches the best, but all scritches are good – he doesn’t have any “don’t touch” spots. I don’t recall him ever getting aggressive toward anyone, under any circumstances. He is not bonded with either of our other cats – they aren’t at all aggressive with each other, but they don't hang out together or cuddle. They mostly just ignore each other. He has been an indoor/outdoor cat but adjusted very well to being an indoor-only cat this past winter. He hasn’t been around dogs, and I have no idea how he’d do with them. If he was introduced properly, he would do fine with other cats. He is rather timid and doesn’t want to be the boss. I got some cat calming diffusers and will provide a diffuser with a 60-day supply. We used one of these when we brought the cats in for the winter and it worked really well.
