Harwich Port Boat Yard, is looking for Marine Mechanic to join our service crew! Must be dependable and a hard working. Harwich Port Boat Yard, is a full time, year-round facility, on Wychmere Harbor. JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: Harwich Port Boat Yard staff are Jack of All Trades. You will be performing both technical and manual maintenance Performing seasonal maintenance on boats, i.e. painting bottoms, waxing, servicing the engines, shrink wrap, pressure wash and work on other systems i.e. fresh and raw water Trouble shooting marine issues, as they arise, working on primarily gas engines, and some diesels. We are a small boat yard, we work, as a team, and independently, when necessary. Perform other related duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or equivalent Be self-motivated, process-driven, and take pride in your work Must have essential mechanical and technical skills Good communication skills are a must. Experience as a Marine mechanic or service technician preferred. If you have related mechanic experience, please reach out. Have a valid state driver’s license
