Baby Conure

Description

4 month old Green Cheek conure, DNA sexed male, hand raised. We recently got him to be a part of our flock, but we see that this baby is becoming more attached to one of our birds and is quickly wanting nothing to do with us, so we feel he needs to be rehomed somewhere that he would be a single bird so he can bond better with his human and doesn't become wild. It isn't just a matter of taking him out separately because he knows where the other birds are now and focuses on finding them. The other birds don't have an obsession for him. Before integrating him with our other birds we had already started training to step up, which he does very well for sunflower seeds. Also he loves to do target training for the same treat. He is very good about eating his veggies (we make chop) and eats pellets (Psitticus is his favorite, but we have been having good luck with Harrisons) so you can easily pick what you would like him to transition to and I'm sure it would go just fine. He likes to take baths in the sink and eats veggies off the counter when I am making meals. The person who hatched him clipped his wings so he doesn't fly right now :( I am willing to meet in the Costco parking lot, in Baxter. Rehoming fee applies.
