I raise fish as a hobby, and sometimes buying brine shrimp eggs and waiting 24 hours for them to hatch before you can feed them to your baby fish can be a hassle. I did a bit of research and found out that Daphnia is the best alternative to Brine shrimp with the exception that it is a fresh water crustacean. I started culturing it and now have enough for me to use, and to give to others. It is easy to culture and doesn’t require anything fancy and they reproduce extremely fast.
