Job Description: Full-Time Regular (40 Hours / Mon-Fri, daily hours vary upon season). Must be willing and available to work early morning, late evening and weekend hours as needed. Additional on-call responsibilities required. As a Maintenance and Grounds Keeping Tech you will be responsible for keeping assigned inside and outside common areas and available units of the property clean, orderly, and pleasant. You will enjoy providing excellent customer service while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents. This position is responsible for a variety of tasks including but not limited to: • Tour properties (daily) to assess cleaning needs • Exterior landscape maintenance (mowing lawns, pulling weeds, sweeping sidewalks) • Clean common areas (stairwells, elevator, parking garage, entryways, hallways) and other assigned areas • Clean vacant and model units • Vacuum, spot clean and shampoo common area carpet and rugs as directed • Dust, clean and polish furniture and wood work • General building maintenance and repairs, preventative maintenance, painting, drywall repair and plumbing • Take routine care of custodial equipment and materials • Maintaining patios of vacant units • Assist Maintenance Supervisor with any additional tasks as needed Special Requirements: • Excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills • Skills in HVAC, Electrical, plumbing and carpentry • Appliance repair/troubleshooting experience • Ability to lift more than 50 lbs • Ability to pass a physical exam • Prior janitorial, landscaping, cleaning, and/or painting experience preferred
