Press release from the City of Norfolk: May 18, 2022 NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) - Detectives are continuing to investigate the shooting Tuesday afternoon that left a 20-year-old woman dead. Around 4:10 p.m., police were dispatched to the 1400 block of W. Little Creek Road for the report of a gunshot victim. When officers arrived, they found Stariyana L. Patterson suffering from a gunshot wound. Patterson was pronounced dead at the scene.
