We welcome the opportunity for you to work with Arbor Residential LLC, a property management company focusing on apartment complexes in South Florida. This is a part time job, with very flexible hours. • No real estate license required. • No prior experience required. Duties: The duty of a Field Canvasser is to drive to predetermined properties within a designated city in South Florida to gather information about a property. Each property takes about 1 to 5 minutes to complete. This is an information gathering only job. This is not a sales or marketing job. Compensation: A field canvasser for Arbor Residential visits an average of 6-8 properties per hour. It is very common for properties to be within a minute of each other (or next door). Each property takes about 1 to 5 minutes to complete. Arbor Residential will pay the Field Canvasser $6.00 per property. $6.00 x 7 properties = $42.00+/ hour. This job can be done completely on the Field Canvasser’s own schedule as long a minimum number of properties are visited every week. A typical day looks like: The Field Canvasser will be provided a list of all addresses located within a very close vicinity (3-5 miles). The Field Canvasser will visit each apartment complex on the list with the goal of obtaining a contact phone number for either the Owner or the Property Manager. Step 1: Knock on a tenant’s door saying that you are interested in learning about renting an apartment. Step 2: Ask the tenant for the Owner of Manager’s contact information ** If the tenant is not home or does not have the phone number, try the next door! Step 3: Write down the phone number Step 4: After all properties on list are visited, input phone number on Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. Step 5: Get paid for each phone number! Requirements: • Must have a valid driver’s license. • Must have reliable transportation. • Must be located in South Florida – Any location is OK but Broward County is preferred. • Must have working computer with internet access and Microsoft Excel (to input contact information) We look forward to working with you!
