Location: Primarily King, Pierce, Snohomish Application Closing Date: 06/11/2022 Competitive Compensation: DOE Ben’s Dozer Service, Inc. (BDS) is seeking an experienced and safety-oriented Heavy Equipment Operator to join our land clearing team. Safely and efficiently operate a variety of heavy equipment to include Hitachi 210 excavator, John Deere 350 excavator, John Deere D700 dozer and John Deere 850K dozer. We are a family-owned General Contractor/Construction Company based in Covington, WA. This is a full-time non-union position with a generous pay & benefits package; including Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance after 60 days, Paid Sick Time, Paid Holidays after 90 days, and 401K after one year. You must have current and valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. The ideal candidate should possess the following skills: • Self Starter (work independently with minimal supervision), work as a member of a team, manage time wisely and meet deadlines • Basic mechanical working knowledge of heavy equipment to perform minor repairs on the equipment and report large repairs to supervisor • Strong work ethic (show up to scheduled shifts on time and ready to work) • Physically able to lift 50 pounds. • Able to stand/kneel and work in dirty, wet or undesirable weather conditions. Required Experience: • 3+ years experience in the construction industry operating heavy equipment and performing land clearing work.
