Our 11th Annual Foundation Gala will be a spectacular evening, featuring dinner, dancing, a photo booth, and a silent auction! The Cherokee Indian Hospital Foundation (CIHF) has a mission within a mission, you might say: Primarily, it’s to support the well-being of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, enriching their lives through better health and healthcare outcomes. We do that by strengthening the Cherokee Indian Hospital Authority (CIHA), including the individual clinics and hospital that comprise it. Your Cherokee Indian Hospital Foundation is working to address and more transparently identify our specific healthcare needs across the Qualla Boundary, so that together we can all work toward the same goals. Keep an eye out throughout the Cherokee Indian Hospital Authority’s hospital and clinics—you may just see a vital medical service you helped provide, a unique Cherokee artwork that helps someone to feel better and heal, or a new surgical tool or service being offered—something you’ve helped to make happen. Funds this year will be donated to support the new Men's Recovery Support Home as part of the EBCI's Recovery Continuum of Care.
