Press release from TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce: May 16, 2022 American Heritage Credit Union Hosts Inaugural Cornhole Tournament Community Event Will Feature Food, Beverages and Prizes, Raising Funds to Support Pediatric Music Therapy Programs at Local Hospitals PHILADELPHIA– May 16, 2022 – American Heritage Credit Union ("American Heritage") and Kids-N-Hope Foundation ("The Foundation") are pleased to announce that they will host the Inaugural Cornhole Tournament, presented by Intech Construction, on Saturday, June 4th from 10a.m. to 2p.m. at American Heritage Credit Union's Red Lion Road campus. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Kids-N-Hope Foundation, which aims to enhance children's health and life services through pediatric music therapy at local hospitals and not-for-profit organizations. The Kids-N-Hope Cornhole Tournament is a Round Robin format, which ensures all 128 teams of two will play four games. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams, with first place receiving $1,200, second place receiving $500, and third place receiving $300. Registration for the event is $50 per team. Players must be 15 and older to register. In addition to the tournament, players and spectators can get a bite to eat at any of the 10 food trucks on campus, enjoy beverages from a local brewery, and will have opportunities to earn multiple prizes. "We are excited to introduce the new Cornhole Tournament as the latest addition to our iconic lineup of community events, and we are thrilled to invite our Foundation supporters and the community to kick off their summers with us," stated Bruce K. Foulke, Founder and Chairman of the Kids-N-Hope Foundation and President & CEO of American Heritage Credit Union. "The Kids-N-Hope Foundation continues to host new programs to raise awareness and funds to support our mission of helping local children through music therapy programs. At the same time, we are excited to welcome members of our community for this fun outdoor summer event. Without the continued support from our community through their participation in events like this tournament, we would not be able to make the impacts we do in the lives of pediatric patients each year." Teams are invited to sign up for the tournament prior to June 2nd at ahcu.co/Cornhole. This press release was produced by TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce.
