Explore trees, streams, habitats plus make bluebird houses & natural tie dye shirts in this multi day camp for rising 2nd to 5th grade kids.
A unique experience of two parks in one week while learning tree identification, conservation, habitats for animals and insects, uses of trees and how that has changed over the last 150 years. Campers will spend Tuesday and Wednesday at Smithgall Woods State Park, then spend Thursday and Friday at Hardman Farm State Historic Site from 10 AM - 2 PM each day. A visit to a wet land, a stream, fields, the oldest road in Georgia, and a 150 year old mansion will encompass the week. Children build bluebird houses and make a tie dye shirt to take home.
