Here are the top stories in Bedford today: Congratulation's to Frederick's Pastries in Bedford and Amherst, named one of the top bakeries in the Viewers' Choice 2022: Best cakes in New Hampshire. The popular Bedford bakery was a top pick when viewers were asked, "If you need a cake for a special occasion, where do you go to find the best in New Hampshire?" Other New Hampshire favorites were the Autumn Nomad Café in Jackson, Toot Sweets Confectionery in Charlestown, Batter Up in Chocorua and Carina's Cakes in Derry. (WMUR Manchester)Ice cream shops are looking for suppliers of premium ice cream after well-known Richardson's Ice Cream, located in Middleton Massachusetts, had to temporarily suspend production. Ice cream shops received the news just as temperatures will soar this weekend. The Inside Scoop in Bedford said Richardson's said that ice cream production is disrupted until the end of May or beginning of June because they can't get the ingredients.
