Press release from the City of Champaign: In order to complete a pavement repair, Northern Concrete Construction has closed Alabama Avenue between Bloomington Road and Harris Avenue. The closure began on Thursday, May 19, 2022, and will reopen on Monday, May 23, 2022, weather permitting. Through traffic will not be allowed in the area; however, access will be maintained for all local properties. This press release was produced by the City of Champaign.
