Press release from the City of Minnetonka: May 18, 2022 The Minnetonka Police Department recently recovered $400,000 in stolen merchandise from a Minnetonka department store. On May 4, Minnetonka police arrested Denis Palamarchuk and Tatyana Alysheva for felony theft after executing a search warrant at a Plymouth residence. Detectives found stolen merchandise, including high-end purses, shoes and clothing, valued at more than $400,000. Detectives also recovered more than $46,000 in cash – proceeds from the sale of the stolen goods. At the time of the arrest, the couple had 215 postings on their eBay account. The stolen items are believed to be from Nordstrom at Ridgedale Center where Palamarchuk and Alysheva were employed. This press release was produced by the City of Minnetonka.
