Press release from the City of Douglasville: Post Date:05/19/2022 1:29 PM City of Douglasville employees Samantha Rosado and Gil Guthrie recently graduated from the Leadership Douglas Class of 2022. Leadership Douglas is a program of the Douglas County Chamber Foundation whose mission is to identify, encourage, and develop leadership abilities so that its participants grow both personally and professionally. Rosado is the Assistant Conference Center And Tourism Director and has been with the city for 8 years. Guthrie is a Sergeant with the Detective Division of the Police Department and has been with the city for 26 years. Assistant City Manager Chelsea Jackson is the Chair of the Chamber's Advancing Modern Professionals in Douglas (AMP'D) Program and passed out scholarships to high school students from several Douglas County schools during the graduation ceremony.
