HB Scumlord Chuck Hornburg scams and threatens to shoot tenants

***SCAM ALERT*** DO NOT RENT FROM THESE INDIVIDUALS 612 21st Huntington Beach, CA, 92648 (Orange House) The landlord, who lives in the master bedroom downstairs uses a fake name (Tryst Lee / Chuck Haft). Their correct legal names are actually Vanessa Thi Bich Nguyen and Charles Hornburg. Charles Hornburg has been charged with attempted murder, shooting his own brother in 2011. They will try to evict you for no cause, walk into your room without notice and go through your belongings. No tenant has ever received their deposit back without taking them to court. Please read the lease agreement that I posted with the pictures of the filthy house, and use your best judgement. The landlord choses not to work. All she does is serving her tenants with legal papers and sending them around 100 text messages per day, knocking on their doors as early as 5:00AM to harass them. The landlord uses fake names on their lease because they are constantly getting sued by their tenants for harassing and assaulting and them. There are currently three pending lawsuits against these two individuals. The Huntington Beach PD is also aware of them, since they are constantly trying to file false police reports. The HBPD told us it has been an ongoing issue since Vanessa Thi Bich Nguyen purchased the housed three years ago. She is also filing restraining orders that all get initially denied by the judge, since she already has a track record. The landlord is also occupying an illegal rental in the garage of the property, which is a code violation within the city of Huntington Beach. The City of Huntington Beach is constantly inspecting the property, since there are multiple complaints from various neighbors and tenants, regarding the illegal dwelling in the garage and other code violations. The latest news is, that she is now also renting out the couch in the living room, which makes it impossible to use the common shared areas. The five tenants now have to share one bathroom. No tenant is allowed to cook in the kitchen, eat or drink in their rooms, or use the WiFi. She actually locks the washer / dryer / fridge and trashcans with a bicycle lock, constantly locks the house and gates, just to harass the tenants and deny them entry to the their rental. Her boyfriend Chuck Hornburg has threatened to shoot the tenants and has assaulted and intimated previous tenants and their children in the past. He also shot his own brother in 2011 and initially got charged with attempted murder. Safe yourself $1,000, a big headache and time and don't fall for this scam.
