We’re hiring for several seasonal Rider Support Team Members at Ride 2 You. Spend your summer time “working” in a fun fast paced industry at Ride 2 You bike rentals and service shop. Ride 2 You is a full service bike shop that excels and differentiates itself with mobile bike rental delivery. Our Customers rent bikes from us in advance, then we deliver them to their destination location. We service much of Central Oregon including Bend, Sunriver, Sisters, Eagle Crest and Redmond. As a Rider Support member you’ll help with all forms of operations and logistics from preparing bikes, to delivering them and from picking them up, to preparing them for the next rental. At Ride 2 You we take extreme pride in ensuring that each and every bike is cleaned and thoroughly serviced for our next Customer. Our bike rental fleet is the largest in Central Oregon with styles ranging from MTB to Cruisers and fom eBikes to Youth bikes. A Typical Day at Ride 2 You: >Assisting in, or leading the process for opening the shop. >Attending the morning meeting and preparing for early morning deliveries. >Preparing and loading bikes onto racks, tailgates and trailers. >Driving to and from Customer locations within 25 miles of the shop to deliver and pick up bikes. >Engaging with Customers, teaching them about their bikes, reviewing safety information, supervising initial test rides to familiarize them with their bikes and providing local knowledge about where to go and what to see. >Assisting bike mechanics with simple tasks such as tire repair, accessory installation and cosmetic refurbishments when necessary. >Washing bikes after each rental return, charging batteries, etc. Skills, Experience and Knowledge that We’re Looking for: >Energetic personality with a gravitation towards cycling. >Demonstrated comfort level working and communicating directly with Customers. >Clean driving record and familiarity with driving a pickup truck, or a pickup truck with a utility trailer attached. >If you can provide your own vehicle, then we’ll reimburse your mileage at competitive rates. >Able to help with back office responsibilities such as answering phones, working with computers and assisting >Customers with retail (product and service) related questions.
