Developing Guitarist looking to form band/play music

I'm looking for musicians to form a band. I play rhythm guitar, and would be looking for a drummer/bassist/lead guitar/vocalist/whatever else you play. I am a guy in my mid 20s, would ideally like to play with people around my age. I have been playing guitar for roughly 8 months now, and can hold my own as a rhythm guitarist. I am looking to play with people primarily to meet some friends who like to play music, and to develop as a musician. I am open to playing a wide variety of genres, but I like to play indie music. Examples of bands I like to play/listen to: Mac Demarco, Peach Pit, Hippo Campus, George Harrison's album "All things must pass", Still woozy, Crumb, Skinshape, to name a few. Let me know if this sounds interesting to you, I am open to playing with any skill level if you have a good attitude.
