Calling all GENERAL LABOR & UTILITY WORKERS! NCW invites you to join us Thursday, June 2nd for our hiring event for OmniSource located at 2205 South Holt Road in Indianapolis, IN. We are looking for upbeat and energetic General Laborers and Utility Workers for 1st and 2nd shifts working M-F, weekends if needed. Pay rate is starting at $15+/hr. DOE, offering shift premiums, and a bonus program. NCW Recruiter Jared Schall will be conducting onsite interviews between 1pm – 3pm so be sure to bring two (2) forms of ID for onboarding. Hope to see you there! EVENT DETAILS: WHEN: Thursday, June 2, 2022 WHERE: 2205 South Holt Road, Indianapolis, IN 46241 TIME: 1pm – 3pm SHIFT: 1st and 2nd PAY RATE: $15+/hr. DOE, shift premium, bonus program AVAILABLE POSITIONS: ***GENERAL LABOR*** HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO: • Operate the forklift and skid steer to move materials throughout the yards as directed. • Sort and grade incoming metals • Complete daily housekeeping of work areas and assist with the functions of the baler as directed. • All other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: • Must have previous forklift experience. • A clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations. • Ability to work in all types of weather conditions. • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more as needed. • Self-motivated team player with excellent attendance. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. ***UTILITY WORKERS*** HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO: • Operate forklift to evacuate autos, appliances, etc. • Unload trailers • Picking, sorting as needed • Housekeeping QUALIFICATIONS: • Previous forklift experience • Have ability to lift to 50lbs. on a repetitive basis. • Ability to work in all types of weather conditions. • Must have good verbal and written communication skills.. • A clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations. • Ability to work 1st shift hours w/OT and work on Saturdays. • Self-motivated, team player dedicated to the organization. • Ability to communicate effectively, including speaking clearly over a two-way radio. • Good decision-making skills in a fast paced, ever changing work environment.
