LOOKING FOR SENIOR LAB OR RETRIEVER

Hello I am the home health provider for an elderly lady in Arcata. She rescued a lab 4 years ago at the age of 11 and we recently had to put her down at the age of 15. The poor girl had tumors all over that were not operable due to the placement and her age. The woman I care for is in a wheel chair and we are looking for a dog that would be suitable to her situation. Ideally, this would be an older lab that likes to cuddle, and be very spoiled, but also likes to hang outside while she does her gardening. She has a large house and a large fenced backyard, I also come there daily to walk the dog. She would prefer a female dog but if the right fit came along, I’m sure she wouldn’t deny a male.
