Warehouse Associate About Flat Fee Fulfillment Flat Fee Fulfillment is a third-party logistics company (also called a “3PL”) that offers operations, fulfillment, and logistics services for a variety of different companies, our clients. We store their inventory (anything from reusable straws to jewelry or home décor!) and pick, pack, and ship their products. We are the important link between companies’ materials and their soon-to-be-happy customers (either retail stores or direct to consumer). Our warehouse is located in Vista, California. Position Overview Flat Fee Fulfillment is a 3-year-old startup seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, efficient, hardworking self-starter to fill our Warehouse Associate position during this exciting time of growth. The Warehouse Associate serves as the back-of-house leader responsible for day-to-day picking, packing, shipping, and receiving operations. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, knack for creating organizational systems, and experience with multiple simultaneous project deadlines, maintaining inventory, and data entry. Hours Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. Essential Duties • Warehouse coordination – maintaining accurate inventory; picking, packing, shipping, and receiving clients’ products; organizing, restocking, and consolidating warehouse boxes • Administrative organization – updating Warehouse Management Software; processing returns • Anticipatory labor – assembling boxes, printing labels, loading and unloading trucks, building pallets of product; staging shipping lanes; etc. • Work collaboratively as part of a team to perform daily operations • Comply with all applicable health and safety codes Job Requirements • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position • Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize • Attention to detail • Highly organized • Engaged by fast-paced environment • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work with diverse groups of people • Demonstrated initiative and eagerness to drive continuous improvement • Strong written and verbal communication • Excellent computer skills • Reliable transportation Reporting Relationship The Warehouse Associate reports directly to the Founder and CEO. Experience and Compensation $15-18 per hour depending on experience. Ideal candidates have 1 years of related professional experience. However, we encourage candidates with unique backgrounds to apply. Typical Working Conditions The Warehouse Coordinator will mostly work indoors in a space impacted by exterior weather conducting a variety of repetitive tasks. Equipment may include box cutters, electric pallet jacks, forklifts, or other heavy machinery. Picking, packing, shipping, and receiving deliveries requires prolonged time standing and/or lifting of up to 50 pounds.
