We are looking to hire onsite wedding assistants for our company. We produce 30-50 intimate weddings a year. Most of these requests are on Saturdays and we are searching for qualified people who can fill this role when needed. It is a great opportunity for extra income. We are looking to hire a pool of 3-4 assistants. Responsibilities: The responsibilities can change per wedding, but here are common requests. - Check in with couple at their lodging - Ensure ceremony location (usually a square) is set up with appropriate vendors at the permit start time - Be point of contact for guests at the ceremony location - Help wedding party enter and leave the ceremony space (give cues for the procession and recession) - Move anything needed (light decor, etc.) to the reception - Check in with reception vendors upon arrival - Greet guests at reception - Depart at start of dinner Qualifications: - Experience with events or the service industry - Available at least 3-4 Saturdays in 2022 and 4-5 in 2023 Application Instructions: If interested, please send us a resume and an email where you tell us why you want the position and why you’d be great at it.
