Greenhouse Supervisor Maui Greens Inc. is a Hydroponic farm operating on the island of Maui that grows and distributes leafy green varieties to local markets and customers. Job Overview: Maui Greens is looking for a hardworking and reliable person to work under the Greenhouse Production Manager and supervise greenhouse staff during day-to-day planting and harvesting. This would be a working supervisor position and the individual would be hands on and responsible for daily crop management, including: pesticide application, seed germination, transplanting hydroponic systems, harvesting, plant maintenance, data collection, and rotation of old crop. The Greenhouse Supervisor would be tasked with making sure quotas are being met and that all work is being done according to Maui Greens Inc. standards. This job can be physically demanding, at times, and may not be for everyone. Must be physically capable to carry/transport upwards of 50lbs. While this is a greenhouse, you should be tolerant of working efficiently under outdoor conditions, including very warm weather. Requirements: · Working on Saturday and Sunday · Be able to carry/transport materials upwards of 50 lbs. · An ideal candidate should have a clean record, valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. · Candidates should have good attention to detail, be able to work quickly, and be self-motivated to work with little supervision. · Previous experience supervising small teams · There are no prerequisites needed in the agriculture industry, but any experience would be helpful. · Experience as a delivery driver with MARSEC and TWIC credentials is desirable, but not necessary. · Working knowledge of pesticide application Compensation: Full Time Salaried Position Medical Coverage If interested, please reply to this post with your resume, including 2-3 references
