$15-17/hr Come in and see us - interview on the spot! We are in search of someone to manage the operation of our warehouse, as well as transport equipment and/or parts to our technicians in the field. Occasional assistance to our in house mechanic may be requested, but mechanics skills are not required. We will supply a company vehicle for pick ups and deliveries. Locations that you would typically be expected to drive to are places like electrical or HVAC supply houses, local Home Depot's and our customers homes. The locations vary all around the local area. Most are within 45 minutes of our location in Newark. With regard to our warehouse, we need to ensure that our heating and cooling stock stays neat and organized, equipment for each job is grouped together correctly, the warehouse itself is properly cleaned/arranged, our scrap trailers get taken to the scrap yard, unused equipment is returned to the supplier, deliveries are checked in and accounted for and any other tasks are completed as assigned by the owner. The successful applicant will have a strong work ethic, enjoy working with their hands, can follow direction well and is a reliable person. You will need to be able to work well with others, and be willing to support our team through your efforts. Uniforms are provided. Clean driving record and the ability to pass a drug screening are required. Having a CDL is a bonus. Ability to operate a forklift is preferred.
