Join us to celebrate the Phase III commemorative brick installation in the beautiful Heritage Frederick Garden! Join us in the Heritage Garden for our 2nd Annual Commemorative Brick Dedication Ceremony where we will celebrate each brick purchased and installed during Phase III. After the brief ceremony honoring the donors and the memories of those whose names are inscribed on the bricks, guests can browse the beautiful historic garden, shop at the Bookery, and enjoy light refreshments. Guests can also enjoy the premier of a short video highlighting a brick in memory of Maud E. Davis, the last matron of the Loats Female Orphan Home which was housed in the museum building for many years. Her brick was donated by Karen Swindell, whose mother was raised at the Home, and where Karen spent time as a child. The event will be streamed on our YouTube channel.
