Come out and get a tour of the property 545-610-ish. Then get down and dirty with us! This week we will be clearing the newest forest trail Come on out to see the property (boy has it changed since the last time you've seen it!). We will begin the tour at 545pm (or when there are at least a handful of volunteers on-site) and end close to 6:15. After this, we will get our hands dirty by: 1. Clearing the grasses going down to the trail (most likely use a scythe) 2. Using hand tools and rakes to pull up plants growing in trail 3. Locating and moving large (3-4 ft) logs to line the trail to make it more distinctive. Please be prepared with at least 1 quart of water (or two small water bottles), wear a hat (helpful for when we are out in the sunny meadow) and wear long pants and long sleeves (to protect against scratchy grasses that may carry ticks).
