For EVERYONE: A Leadership Symposium on Cultural Competence in the American Job Center network featuring keynote presenter, Alvin C. Hill . A culturally competent leader possesses the skills, knowledge, and attitude necessary to create authentic relationships with those from different cultures. These resources can help leaders become aware of and let go of unconscious biases, and be open to understanding different cultures. Join partners and colleagues from the American Job Center network for this in-person event, at the Richard T. Anderson Education and Learning Center on the WCTC campus in Pewaukee, WI. Alvin C Hill Jr., Senior Directory of Diversity and Cultural Competence, from the Centers for Independence, will be the featured presenter. He recently provided leadership training for the W-O-W Workforce Development Board. His interactive session will focus on strategies to concretely enhance Diversity Equity and Inclusion efforts within the teams, organizations, and centers that comprise the public workforce system. This event is open to all staff and organizations within the American Job Center network.
