The (MOMS) The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Service Awards recognizes excellence in community service activities carried out by an individual, organization or group, and seeks to encourage similar efforts by others who may want to serve in the community. These awards are presented each year during the City of Akron annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday Celebration. However due to the Covid-19 related precautionary matters was postponed. The Ceremony will now take place on Saturday June 18,2022 1 pm -3pm at 526 S. Main Street Akron, Ohio44308 during Juneteenth Weekend Festivities.
