Exterior painting of two story house about 3000 sqft

My home is about 2500sqft of exterior surface area. I am looking for a seasoned professional that is conscientious, neat, punctual, and has recent references. The house has already been scraped, siding and a small amount of rotted wood fixed, caulked, and partially taped. But some more of the same will still be needed and should be included in the bid. There are some high spots since the home is on slope: maximum height from ground to roof is about 24 feet. We have extra ladders including the safety clip-ons. Otherwise please have/bring your own tools. I want/need to be regularly involved in the decision making. Ask yourself if you are comfortable with the arrangement that the home-owner (me) will be asking questions and affecting your work approach. I do it because of my problem solving abilities and the need to stay abreast of any difficulties. Many contractors prefer an independent approach in which I close my eyes until the job is done. That is not going to be the cases here - so are you OK with conferring with me every several hours or so of work? A regular and predictable schedule and appearances/availability are also important. Please leave text message with how much experience you have and what you will charge. * The price for the job is for *your* labor costs. * I will ask that you help me to buy the primer and main paint but I will pay for it (by phone). The trim paint is already purchased. * Let me know in the bid if you or I should pay for indicentals such as brushes, plastic coverings, etc. * Let me know in the bid how much preparation work you will include. E.g. scraping, minor fixes to trim such as filling wood holes, or possibly none at all. * give an approximate amount of days of work for painting 2500 sqft remembering there will be substantial ladder work
