Learn about the Anacostia River’s history, wildlife, environmental threats it faces, and solutions helping it realize its full potential. These free, guided boat tours are funded by the District’s disposable bag fee. Public tours are offered each month and capped at 20 people per trip. ATTENTION: EVERYONE who is going to take a tour must fill out this Waiver and COVID-19 Questionnaire. Adults can fill out for up to 5 minors. Waivers must be completed PRIOR to boarding the boat.
