Strength for Runners and Triathletes! Are you a runner or triathlete that knows they need to do strength, but don't know where to start? Do you get overwhelmed with all the exercises on Instagram/FB/Tik Tok and find it easier to just throw on your running shoes and go for a run? Have a history of injuries after you get to a certain mileage and want to stop the cycle? Not sure if you are doing the exercises correctly or how to put together a program? Find every time you attempt a strength workout, you are so sore you can't run for days? Feel you have to spend hours doing strength work and you just don't have the time? Dr. Chrissy and Dr. Cassie at Precision Performance and Sports Medicine are presenting a FREE Strength for Runners workshop for runners and triathletes of all levels! In this IN-PERSON workshop, we will cover: - The basic strength exercises you need to include in your strength program - Proper form and identify any movement impairments that might limit you from getting the most out of your strength program - Programming including frequency, reps, sets and intensity (i.e. weight) in less than 30 minutes a week - Q & A and demos to answer any of your specific questions! This will be an interactive workshop and you will be moving - so make sure to bring your shoes, shorts and workout gear!
