Ditch the bottle and make your own zero waste, conditioning shampoo bars! We are all looking for better ways to care for ourselves and the earth. Using a mild and gentle zero waste shampoo bar rather than commercial shampoo from a plastic bottle is better for your hair and for the earth! This class will show you how to create conditioning shampoo bars with rich lather using simple and safe ingredients. Each participant will make and take home one pound of solid shampoo (equivalent to 4-5 bars) and will be able to choose their own fragrance and color. This is a very hands on class using oils and caustic materials; All materials are provided. please wear closed toe shoes, old clothes, and consider bringing an apron. For ages 12+ with adult
