The Austin Arts Commission wants to hear your thoughts on the new Cultural Arts Division pilot funding program drafts. There’s funding out there–find out how you can get it! Join us as we invite the Arts Commissioners in conversation around these new pilot funding program drafts designed to support creative public projects developed through community activation and/or collaboration. This includes performances, exhibitions, workshops and public art projects. This session will include a brief overview of the process to date and a Q&A. The entire cultural contract process is overwhelming, so we’re making time for you to engage with the community and talk directly to the Arts Commissioners involved in shaping these programs. Now is the time to ask questions and give your feedback. We encourage emerging artists new to the process and underrepresented artists to participate.
