Chimera Golf Club hosts a 1st Annual Easter Parade. An egg hunt kicks off the morning of family activities and optional post-parade brunch. CHIMERA EASTER PARADEChimera is hosting the first Easter Parade in Tuscany Village on Sunday, April 4th at 10:00 AM preceded by an egg hunt (separate registration required.) Brunch at 11:00 at Chimera to follow the parade. Best themed entrants win gift certificates1st $752nd $503rd $25Parade entry registrations are required. Formation begins in the Chimera parking lot with assigned numbers proceeding in event order. A left turn at the top of Chimera’s hill begins the route. The 2.5 mile Olivia Parkway loop is completed counterclockwise twice with a final left turn returning to the Chimera parking lot. Prizes are awarded for the best parade entries! Registrations are required for Easter brunch.Scalawags mobile food truck will be onsite Q: Will the event possibly be changed due to the Governor's directive?A. NOTE: Originally, we posted our current contingency plan. Presently, the parade will not only include participants in their enclosed vehicles but bicyclists, as well. In addition to the inclusion of bicycles is also golf carts for our volunteer safety monitors. Q: What happens to my registration fee if the event is canceled due to the Governor's directive?A. Due to the coronavirus, and its potential impact on events, Eventbrite holds payouts for all live and future events. This ensures funds are available in the Eventbrite account if we need to issue refunds.Q: Why is a fee required for registration?A. Fees support the costs of our ongoing festivities. Q. What is included in my event registration?A. Entry to the parade with numbered placement is confirmed.Q: Can my friends and family come to watch my participation in the parade?A. For optimal safety, spectators should remain in their vehicles along the route where parking lanes occur. EVENT WAIVERBy attending, I acknowledge that I hold harmless Chimera Golf Club for my participation in events on or near the property. By attending, I assume full responsibility for all risk of injury or loss, including death, which may result from my participation in this event including minors in my care. I agree to hold harmless, release, waive, forever discharge and covenant not to sue or bring a claim against Chimera Golf Club LLC, their officers, agents, employees, and/or volunteers from any and all claims and demands whatsoever, by reason of any accident, illness, injury or death, or damage to or loss or destruction of any property arising or resulting directly or indirectly from my participation in the program and occurring during said participation, or any time subsequent thereto, whether or not such loss, injury, or death is caused or alleged to be caused in whole or in part by the negligent acts or omissions of Chimera, their officers, agents, employees, or volunteers. Chimera Easter Parade FAQQ: Do I have to wear a mask being outdoors and socially distanced?A: Yes. Masks are required to participate in the event regardless of your role as an attendee or volunteer. Q: Is my two-year-old required to wear a mask?A: SECTION 7: The mandatory provisions of this Directive shall not apply to:(1) Children who are nine years of age, or younger. Children who are two to nine years of age are strongly encouraged to wear face coverings in public spaces.Q: Why is 25' of spacing required during this event?A: Activities creating movement have a need for greater spacing even when outdoors. Q: Will the health inspector visit during this event?A: We may have a random visit from a state compliance officer.Q: How do I qualify as a contestant? A: As a participant in the Easter parade, you can upload your photos via the Guest app for sharing video and photo media. The judging will be based on shared media.
