Full Job Description Our Vineyards is currently hiring General Field Laborers to help with vineyard tasks. Applicants will safely perform all aspects of vineyard tasks and be able to work well in a team. Successful applicants will perform a variety of vineyard tasks such as: • Hand pruning (Utilizing hand shears and loppers) • Shoot Thinning • Wire Movements • Hand Hedging • Leaf Removal • Fruit Thinning • Harvesting • Grounds Maintenance Non-Essential Functions: • Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by manager Working Conditions: • Working outside in the elements • Sloped and uneven vineyard floor and steep hillsides Physical Requirements: • Bending, kneeling and twisting repetitively • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds required • Ability to stand and walk on uneven terrain for long periods of time • Repetitive movements involved in pruning, brush pulling, and tying Required Team Player: Ability to work well with other members of pruning team Willing to Learn: Listen and perform tasks per instructions and quality expectations Attention to Detail: Repeat tasks and perform work at a consistently high quality level Experience: Previous vineyard experience is a plus, but willing to train those eager to learn. Weekend work may be required as needed. All applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
