Join Academy Award-winning independent animator and historian, John Canemaker, for a lecture about the iconic animation of Disney. Professor Canemaker will disscuss Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston, two of Disney's famed animators and members of the infamous " Nine Old Men." Both were pioneers of "personality animation" and worked on Disney classics such as Snow White, Pinocchio, Bambi, Lady and the Tramp, Peter Pan, The Jungle Book, and many other films! *Professor Canemaker will be speaking with us through zoom, however this is an in person lecture for attendees. The talk will be projected in our main gallery and museum employees will help facilitate a Q&A after the talk.
