Maintenance Staff Part-time (no benefits) or full time with medical, all non-exempt at a competitive $18 - $23/HR, DOE and responsibilities Swedish Club www.swedishclubnw.org or 206-283-1090 Work where you are wanted! The Swedish Club is a non-profit private club that welcomes all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. This large 1960s building looks east over Lake Union in Seattle. We have a great view and lots of free parking. Our building is convenient to a bus stop on a Metro main line. There are two commercial kitchens, a dining room, bar/lounge, and multiple rooms that are often rented for events. There are multiple positions open. From part-time 15 hours/week to full-time 40 hours/week. All applicants can discuss a schedule that will work for both of us. Requirements: Always consider guests and members first. Duties and Responsibilities: • Maintain and upkeep both indoor and outside of building. • Clean! Maintain bathrooms, kitchens, all rooms, offices, hallways, and floors. • Take out the trash, food waste, restock garbage bags and bathroom supplies. We recycle. • Watch for problems! Replace light bulbs. • Pressure wash if necessary and pick-up around grounds. • Notice maintenance needs! Advise supervisor of repairs, painting, and areas needing attention. • Keep equipment in order and replace into maintenance closets and AV equipment room after use. • Set-up rooms for events and clean up after events. Arrange chairs, tables, pianos, audio & visual equipment as required and then return to storage areas. • Keep all areas ready for viewing and appealing to current members and potential clients. • Be ready to help clients with requests and changes. Always verify with your supervisor. • Check in the logbook daily for current duties and make note of any problems with either the facility or with clients.
