NEW YORK CITY — New York City straphangers can expect delays on 11 different subway lines Thursday morning, according to MTA officials. A medical emergency at Canal Street prompted delays for northbound 4/5/6 trains, the MTA posted at 8:06 a.m. Another passenger in need of medical assistance at Junction Boulevard caused delays for 34th Street-bound 7 express trains, the MTA posted at 8:22 a.m. Northbound B and Q trains ran with delays because of a signal problem at Brighton Beach, the MTA posted at 7:45 a.m. Southbound F trains were delayed as the NYPD responded to disruptive passenger at Delancey Street-Essex Street, the MTA posted at 8:04 a.m. And N/Q/R/W trains heading south ran with delays as medics responded to a person who needed medical help at 57th Street-Seventh Avenue, the MTA posted at 8:28 a.m. The Staten Island Railway's 8:31 a.m. train from Tottenville to St. George also will not because of a crew shortage, the MTA posted.
