Everyone is invited to the 121th Meeting of the Founders of Norwich/Leffingwell House Museum on Wed., June 1st at 6:00pm at Otis Library in downtown Norwich.
A short business meeting and Leffingwell 2022-24 officer and board confirmation will be followed by a presentation on the Witness Stone Project by Dennis Culliton, founder of the Witness Stone Project.
NFA students of Ms.Karen Kook have been working with him on a witness stone placement at the Leffingwell House Museum. The installation of the stone will be in the Leffingwell House Museum garden on Friday, June 27 at 9am. The Witness Stone Project, through research, education, and civic engagement, seeks to restore the history and to honor the humanity and contributions of enslaved individuals who helped build our communities This meeting and presentation are open to the public and FREE!
The Society of the Founders has preserved and shared Norwich History since 1901. Open to the public and Free.
