LEARN WHAT IT MEANS TO EAT RIGHT, THEY'LL HAVE CREATIVE FASHION FUN, WATCH FASHION VIDEOS, AND ENJOY SNACKS/BEVERAGES. INCLUDED. Attendees of this Modeling Summer Camp have the opportunity to learn new modeling techniques every day for five days. During that time, they will continuously build upon their confidence, Self-Awareness, Self-Esteem, and Socialization skills.Fashion Stars will learn how to carry themselves with poise and grace, which translates into confidence. Confidence provides advantages in life, like being treated with respect, doing well during auditions and interviews, and being offered new opportunities. Studies show kids with confidence do well in school.Nutrition/Body Image - We will discuss the importance of understanding what you eat. What eating smart means. The importance of exercise, and how it effects our overall well-being.  We'll talk about body image, and how students feel about their own self image. Studies show, children as early as six years old begin to have concerns about their own image, and how they look.The intent of this workshop is to make sure students understand they're beautiful in their own way. We'll focus on pointing out the positives in each student, and watch a video showing girls from 6 to 18 talk about their image concerns.  The same girls will quickly talk about how they understand it's not really a concern, because they understand it's what makes them unique and beautiful. This is a very uplifting workshop with a lot of good conversation.Fashion Stars will complete a creative fashion project to take home at the end of their day, watch various fashion videos, and discuss current and past fashion trends.Complimentary snacks and beverages available throughout the day. Private restrooms available.
