Description
GREENDALE, WI — If you have personal and confidential documents in need of shredding, your next chance to do so in Greendale will be Saturday morning.
The Village of Greendale is planning a residential paper shredding event for 8 a.m. at the Municipal Parking Lot, which is located near 5600 Parking Street. Greendale residents will be able to bring documents for on-site destruction, according to the event posted on the village's website.
Each Greendale household will be allowed two banker boxes of documents, and only "confidential" documents such as bank statements, invoices, medical records, credit card offers and pay stubs will be accepted.
Documents can have staples and small paper clups, but large clips and binders should be removed. No plastics or plastic bags with documents inside will be accepted either, according to the listing, although credit cards and ID cards will be accepted.
Residents should expect to show a driver's license or current utility or tax bill to prove Greendale residency for the event.
