BETHEL, CT — The Bethel Memorial Day Parade returns Sunday after a two-year COVID-19 hiatus. As in previous years, the event will be hosted by the Bethel Patriotic Association. The parade will kick off at 2:00 p.m. from the intersection of Routes 53 and 302. Marchers will travel east on Route 302 to Barnum Square, left at the square, then left onto School Street where they will disband at the Municipal Center. The grand marshal for the event is former U.S. Marine and Afghanistan War veteran Thomas Burke.
