POSITION SUMMARY Mantech Mechanical Services, LLC seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to ensure crews always have the equipment they need to execute projects efficiently and effectively. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for ordering, storing and distributing tools and equipment across multiple locations. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the Expeditor position. He/she shall also be responsible for overseeing maintenance for the vehicle fleet. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Responsible for packaging, loading and manifesting ALL jobsite materials and tools for shipment to remote areas (delivery methods vary from trucks to air freight) • Implement and maintain a tracking process for materials • Manage inventory and ordering cycle • Shop among suppliers; obtain the best price • Take deliveries, audit against what was ordered, track back-orders • Restock inventory maintaining highly organized, immaculate storage areas • Keep the yard clean and organized • Implement and maintain sign-out system for designated equipment and tools • Oversee proper care and maintenance of vehicle fleet • Other missions and tasks as assigned by your supervisor HOURS In general, this position works Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm (some overtime as needed). REQUIRED (BASIC) QUALIFICATIONS • Highly organized, attention to detail with the ability to manage last minute changes • Basic construction industry experience or training • Passionate about the plumbing and mechanical construction industry; looking to start a career • Personable, proactive, quick learner, positive endorsements • Strong references to provide testimony of your ability to learn quickly, organize and think ahead • High school graduate • Personal vehicle and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Forklift experience / qualifications • Strong communication skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Stocking or retail experience in a distribution center or warehouse • Prior experience working in the plumbing industry or with similar materials • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree • Demonstrated proficiency using Excel and other computer-based inventory systems COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Starting ‘expected performance’ salary is $52,000. Alternative starting compensation values may be evaluated based on background and experience.
