LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — The sheriff's office is investigating several incidents around the county including a bomb threat at Dominion High School. At 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, deputies with the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office for a bomb threat that the school received through email. The sheriff's office said deputies "thoroughly investigated" the incident and identified a suspect. Authorities said the suspect lives in Fairfax County and is currently undergoing a mental health evaluation. The sheriff's office have not publicly identified the suspect. In a police report, authorities noted that charges are pending in connection with the threat. The incident occurred on Wednesday near the intersection of South 20th Street and East A Street. Several children said they were walking home from school when a man in a truck threw a firework at them, the police report said. None of the children were injured in the incident, according to authorities. The sheriff's office said the truck was a white-cab GMC Topkick or Chevy Kodiak 2 axle dump truck with a black bed, loaded with an orange bobcat-brand skid loader.
