Stewards of Safety aims to equip professionals to recognize and respond to situations of abuse, violence and exploitation. Conduit Ministries, the Child Advocacy Program, Chautauqua County Safe Harbour Program, the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department and Moonlight Electric invite you to a FREE training to help tradespeople learn to identify the red flags and warning signs of child & elder abuse, intimate partner violence, human trafficking and exploitation in situations in residential settings and what to do if you suspect that these types of abuse are occurring. Dinner will be provided by Moonlight Electric. Each participating business will receive a Stewards of Safety window cling for their business and company owned vehicles that serve as a visual representation that the employee has been trained to identify warning signs of abuse and take the necessary steps to respond. Participants will also receive a completion certificate and resource guides to ensure access to needed information for responding and reporting suspected abuse, violence or exploitation.
