Kid's book festival. Celebrating the Twin Cities Black Authors Sarah Warren, Saba (Sean) Stewart, Desmond Walker and Josalyn Thomas. Saturday June 18th, we continue to celebrate the Southside's new, Black owned creative space, "The Legacy Building" with our very own Kid's Book Fest, featuring Twin Cities' Black authors, Sarah Warren, Saba (Sean) Stewart, Desmond Walker (youth author) and Josalyn Thomas. Sponsored by First Independence Bank. Families and those young at heart are welcomed to join us starting at 2:30 PM to hear readings, buy books from our authors, enjoy parent lead activities and jam out to live music! All are welcomed to RSVP to this free this event to have their name included in our drawing. **our bathrooms are not yet ADA compliant. Porta Potties will be onsite for your use**
