Here are the top three stories in New Orleans today: A City Hall IT employee's computer has been seized as a part of the ongoing "Smart Cities" initiative investigation. Mayor Cantrell's "Smart Cities" initiative involved providing free Wi-Fi to low income neighborhoods and using "smart" streetlights to collect data for improvements and profit is being investigated by the Inspector General's Office to discern how Cantrell's administration negotiated the initiatives contracts. (FOX 8 Local First) A former Metairie priest, Stephen Sauer, has been rearrested after a new victim was identified after he was accused of taking pictures and videos of unconscious men. He was booked with voyeurism, sexual battery and now a count of rape. (NOLA.com) Ninety-seven bottles of illegal cough syrup were seized in a St. Tammany traffic stop. Two cars were pulled over on I-12 near Covington on Monday for traffic violations, and a drug sniffing dog alerted to the second vehicle where officers found many pint bottles filled with Promethazine Hydrochloride.
