Our music therapy groups are fun, engaging, & therapeutic in nature with instruments, movement,
group-singing, and games.
As part of our Summer Reading programming, Fine Art Miracles employ the “humanistic” approach, which means “people first”. We treat the whole
person. Every human life has intrinsic value, and differences are what make us unique. Our
music therapy groups are fun, engaging, and therapeutic in nature. Instruments, movement,
group-singing, and games are just some of the tools being used in FAM group sessions.
Sessions are designed to promote group members’ creativity, strengthen relationships with peers,
and maintain and build upon cognitive capacity. Each session is catered to the population we
serve; experiences are adaptable to fit each group member’s needs.
The proof is in the results:
• Researchers have seen a reduction in depression,
• Improvements in cognition, and
• Increased sociability among those participating in art and music programs.
